Very experienced
My son has attended One Love Montessori from January 2023 through July 2024. He has grown from a reserved child to outgoing and initiating play with other children. Academically he is now more than ready to begin transitional kindergarten. The head teacher Ms. Chapna is kind and very experienced with the Montessori method and giving lessons to children. Although the school is only a few years old, the director/owner has many years of experience as director of another Montessori school. We will miss the time spent at OLM …

A Hidden Gem with Long Term Tracking Record
OLM is a hidden gem, a rare find in the area with its unique quality that are almost impossible to replicate. My kid is having a great time here and has been showing tremendous growth that exceeds our expectation. OLM is essentially the family based care opened by the director and the teacher formerly in All Are Friends (AAF), who has been forced out in its unfortunate and unsuccessful turnaround last year. This means OLM has a teacher/student ratio of 1:6, where both of the teachers are Montessori certified – a bar almost unattainable in almost all schools that I know. One Love-always in our heart
The name of Ms. Rita’s montessori says it all- One Love. Our now 4 year old enjoyed every single day at One Love. We ended up extending his hours because he never was ready to come home! One Love was not just a preschool but a second home that nurtured, taught and provided a very safe and loving environment for our child to thrive. Our child has made friends that still stay connected since we relocated! Personalized attention and Covid-safe
We used to attend All Are Friends Montessori in Foster City but once ownership of the preschool changed hands, we decided to follow its original director, Rita Enright, to One Love Montessori in San Mateo. Even though we initially preferred a childcare center (versus a home-based setting) when we first chose All Are Friends, moving to One Love is a decision we have not regretted. Our child has gotten significantly more personalized attention at OLM with the smaller teacher-to-student ratio and we have found OLM to be extremely Covid-safe, as the majority of the classroom space is outdoors.
